Western Thousand Buddha Cave 7: Standing Bodhisattvas

| This painting is located on the right side of the central pillar 's east face. Both Bodhisattvas wear triple-disc crowns with ribbons, long stoles, and dhotis. A three-dimensional technique was used to paint the whites of the Bodhisattvas ' eyes. The technique was also used on the outlines of the stoles and on the Bodhisattvas ' earrings. |
