Pargarbu Cave 1: Mural

| This well-preserved mural is located on the right end of the east wall. The top features an undulating canopy, with two rows of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas beneath. In the top row the Buddhas are, from left to right, Vairocana Buddha, Amoghasiddhi Buddha, and a Four-Armed Avalokitesvara. The bottom row features Ratnasambhava Buddha, who forms the varada (wish-granting) mudra, Aksobhya Buddha, who forms the bhumisparsa (earth-touching) mudra, and Green Tara. |
