| This wooden box was used to hold sutras. It is 47.2 cm long, 25.8 cm wide, and 24.8 cm high, the entire box is lacquered and inlaid with a floral pattern in copper and mother-of-pearl. The hinged lid has beveled edges. There is a rudimentary lock and there are handles at the sides. At the corners of the lid, there are two Chinese characters which read baho" in Korean |
