Famen Temple Pagoda: Oil Lamp

This silver oil lamp was recovered from the underground palace of Famen Temple Pagoda. It was likely used for making Buddhist offerings.
  The height of the whole lamp is 20.3 cm. The bowl measures 6.3 cm deep and has a diameter of 16 cm. It is supported by a circular tiered base. When the lamp is polished, its smooth surfaces shine brightly.
