This butter oil lamp is a typical offering instrument used in Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies.
  The lamp is made of silver and consists of a base, stem, and bowl. The bowl is decorated with peonies and the eight auspicious symbols using repousse technique. It is supported by a stem featuring auspicious patterns. The round base flares outwards and is decorated with a repousse upright lotus design
