Baosheng Temple: Dragon-Subduing Arhat

The Dragon-Subduing Arhat is located on the upper section of this group of sculptures, and is the fourth figure counting from the west. The bearded Arhat wears a decorative robe with prominent folds as he sits at ease on a rock. He gazes upward to the right with thick knit eyebrows and alert eyes. The high forehead and prominent nose may represent foreign features.
