Chen Yu-Feng (1900-1964)

TAIWAN, Tainan
Chen Yu-Feng, whose original name was Chen Yan, was a folk artist who specialized in painting. During his teenage years, he studied under Lu Bisong, an artist from Shantou, Guangdong in China. Subsequently he traveled to Shantou to learn traditional techniques of Chinese painting from He Jinlong.
