Yunyan Temple Pagoda: Seated Buddha

The Buddha wears a monastic robe that leaves the right shoulder bare and drapes over the feet. The figure sits in full lotus position with hands in Dharmacakra (Dharma wheel) mudra. A tenon on the back of the statue indicates where a mandorla was attached. |
