Incense Burner

KOREA; Goryeo dynasty (918–1392); Bronze; H: 14.2 cm; Central Museum of Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea
The bowl of this incense burner is supported by three curved legs ending in animals' paws. At the top of the legs, there is a trefoil design where the legs are riveted to the bowl. At the top of the bowl is a rim. The lid is inserted into the bowl and has a beast in the center. There are four holes in the lid allowing the smoke to disperse.
