This prayer wheel consists of an inner and outer cylinder. The latter has four openings in the form of an ogee and inverted ogee arch and is decorated with lotus, pearl, and scroll leaf patterns. The upper part has a row of pearls edged with small bead patterns, while the lower part has lotus petals edged also with small bead patterns. The inner cylinder is decorated in a similar manner to the outer one, and has the Six-Syllable Mantra in repousse. Inside the inner cylinder, there is a sutra wrapped around the central rod. |
