Bingling Temple Cave 168: Heavenly King

This statue is located on the south wall. The Heavenly King has prominent facial features including round eyes, a bulging nose, and thick lips. The figure is clad in full body armor, knee-high boots, and a cape. The chest plate of the armor is carved with whorl designs. The Heavenly King’s posture is animated, with one hand raised in a fist and one foot stepping on a raised rock-like protrusion. |
