This is a Vajrayana Buddhist Dharma instrument from the Goryeo dynasty. The bell has four images of seated Buddhas and is ringed with bead patterns on the upper and the lower sections. The shoulder of the bell is decorated with lotus petals, while the handle features lotus petals and four bestial faces in the middle. The top of the handle takes the form of a five-prong vajra, with the central straight prong surrounded by four curved prongs. |
