This statue is located in the center of the Hall of the Three Great Bodhisattvas, between Manjusri and Samantabhadra. Avalokitesvara is depicted wearing an ornate crown with strands of hair and ribbons falling to the shoulders. The Bodhisattva wears a loose garment with a stole, and the lower body is covered in a colorful long dhoti. The Bodhisattva is seated in a variation of the relaxation posture, with one leg resting on the lotus throne and the other on the back of a qilin.
