Statuette of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva

This green jade statuette of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva was made in the Qing dynasty and measures 14.6 cm high. Seated on a Sumeru throne in royal ease posture, Avalokitesvara wears a cape with a decorated edge, and a robe covering the rest of the body.
  The face of the Bodhisattva is thin, the eyebrows are distinctively incised, and the eyes are slightly closed. The body is decorated with ornaments, and the left hand holds a vase in front of the abdomen, while the right hand hangs down and holds prayer beads.
