Hyozu Taisha Shrine: Pendant

Made of gilt copper, this almond-shaped pendant is encircled by flower garland, which is wider at the top and consists of overlapping petals. A suspension loop is affixed to the top of the garland. The seed syllable for Vairocana Buddha appears on a lotus at the center. Around the outside of the pendant are flaming motifs, and there are ribbons above and on either side of it. It was listed as an Important Cultural Property in 1910.
