This crystal figurine of Aksobhya Buddha was recovered from Qianxun Pagoda at Chongsheng Temple in 1978. The Buddha has curly hair and a high usnisa. The face is ruggedly carved with long eyebrows, deep eyes, a bulbous nose, and a broad mouth that bears a smile. The earlobes hang down to the shoulders and the neck is short. The Buddha sits in full lotus position and wears a robe over the left shoulder. His left hand rests in front of the abdomen with the palm facing up, while the right hand is held in the bhumisparsa (earth-touching) mudra.
